Introducing Our First Partners in North Carolina!

Happy Holidays! As we come to the end of 2019, lots of people are taking this time to reflect on what they’re thankful for. Here at Upstream NC, we are very thankful to have partners like you. Our project here in North Carolina launched in February, and we have made some incredible strides in our first ten months. Now we want to reflect on some of the things that we’ve accomplished and provide a sneak peek into what we’re working on for 2020!

Welcome to Upstream NC!

We’re honored to announce that the NC Academy of Family Physicians (NCAFP) has officially endorsed Upstream NC’s efforts in the state.

We have secured nine partnership agreements in the past three months.

Each of these health systems brings something special to North Carolina, and we’re looking forward to getting started with them.

  • We’re thrilled to be working with IMAT Solutions as a data vendor for our North Carolina project.
  • Our team has grown! Meet all the new Upstreamers in North Carolina.
  • Our downtown Raleigh office is now open, and we held an Open House on December 11th. Our Charlotte office opened this week with an Open House taking place in January.

We’ve not only expanded our team, but our incredible Advisory Committee has expanded as well. On November 18th we held our first advisory meeting. Thank you to each and every member of our committee who has given us incredible advice and guidance to push our mission forward.

We held our Upstream USA: Impact at Scale Webinar with the Department of Health and Human Services. Did you miss it? Don’t worry! You can still access the video and the presentation!

Coming in 2020

We look forward to partnering with DHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen, a keynote speaker, on our Reproductive Life Planning Summit. This event will create connections and advance powerful conversations with high-level thought leaders from around North Carolina.

Thank you for your continued support on this journey.
